Dr.Mehmet this is a very important point regarding self sacrifice. Recently myself and my family went on a road trip for two days,continuous travel exhausted me. Upon reaching home my family again went out for dinner. I politely declined this invitation saying " I cannot stretch myself further at this moment" . Setting this boundary was so essential for me.
